OSM/VISTA Works with Local Volunteers to Revitalize Trail

ACCT partner Appalachian Sustainable Development (ASD) was featured in article by the Bristol Herald Courier, this week. ASD's OSM/VISTA, Katie Commender, has been working with local volunteers to revitalize the Panicello Memorial Trail, a lush greenway in Abingdon, VA, which will link E.B. Stanley Middle School and Abingdon High School.In June, ASD and Commender hosted a workshop that brought environmental education to local preteens and gave them an opportunity to work on the trail.
